We are seeking a qualified Team Manager to join our dedicated Locality Team at Herefordshire Council.
37 hours (Full-Time)
We are looking for a full-time enthusiastic Locality Manager to join us in providing support to a staff team and provide quality services for vulnerable adults.

With a large, dispersed team, covering Leominster, Kington and surrounding areas this leader will be an accomplished communicator and highly respected Social Work leader, skilled at creating a shared vision and culture across all aspects of practice. They will ensure a person-centred, strength based and risk appropriate approach permeates through decision making at all levels. You will need to be office based 2 days a week.
You will be an experienced social work manager or a practitioner with substantial experience and expertise in statutory social work looking to progress into a management role. Your experience will enable you to evidence how you have applied your learning to your practice; and you will have a proven track record of excellent practice.
You will influence system-wide cultural change, and work together to achieve a joined-up approach to operational services, creating a clear vision for the future social care workforce that demonstrates innovative, best practice and serves to inspire colleagues in other parts of the service and partner agencies. The ability to lead the development and implementation of strategy in relation to key areas of practice will be essential.
With increasing, complex demand and a challenging financial environment, you will be pivotal in, forming strong and influential relationships across the system to deliver value for money services which manage risk appropriately and improve outcomes.
