🔎 About the Role:
North Lincolnshire Council are seeking a Lead Officer to join the Single Point of Access Team.
37 hours (Full-Time)
To provide effective operational leadership, management and direction to front line staff, ensuring that all interventions and services provided are person centred, high quality and optimise human, financial and other resources effectively and efficiently.
To assume responsibility for safeguarding vulnerable adults.
Main Responsibilities:

Operational management of integrated assessment and single point of access for all adults within North Lincolnshire, developing innovative and creative solutions to deliver the ambitions of our Council Plan.

Implements the Community First Approach, so that North Lincolnshire is a place where adults with care and support needs have the life opportunities to enable them to live fulfilling lives and have choice and control over how their care needs are met, enabling them to live and age well.

Leads on specific areas of work on behalf of the service, i.e. dementia, continuing health care, autism, etc.

Develops, and effectively manages, high performing teams who are held to account in terms of delivery and outcomes for their area of responsibility.

Contract management of commissioned services within area of responsibility.

Acts as signatory in relation to the authorisation of the DoLS, on behalf of the Director of Adult Social Services (DASS).

Provides 7-day management support to front line staff as part of an on-call rota.

Planning, organising and implementing strategies and policies to improve outcomes for people, sharing best practice where appropriate, to improve person centred care and delivery, advising on complex case work.

Oversees the performance monitoring of the designated service area, evaluating and reporting against agreed targets and key performance indicators, undertaking corrective action where necessary. Contribute to the review of targets and key actions within the service.

Actively manages the assigned budget for area of responsibility, ensuring financial balance and providing the Head of Intermediate Care with reports on financial activity as required.

Monitors and evaluates quality, outcomes and cost effectiveness within area of accountability, maintaining an adequate availability of resources.

Undertakes risk stratification within areas of responsibility.

Actively participates in the authorities’ emergency planning group on behalf of the service.

Acts as author for management reports including cabinet papers, scrutiny reports and delegated decision reports (DDR’s) together with undertaking of any disciplinary investigations and complaints.

Leads as incident/recovery manager in Corporate Emergency Planning arrangements and incidents.

Experienced investigating officer with the ability to present cases on behalf of the service and/or local authority, on both internal matters and court proceedings.

Advises, supports and where necessary deputises for the Head of Intermediate Care.
