An experienced Senior Social Worker is required to join our client’s MASH team in Gloucestershire.

This role is office based in Gloucester so does not require driving.  Candidates should have a strong grasp of thresholds and be primed to support the triaging and decision making of new contacts to ensure we are able to give a speedy and timely response.  This role is within a secure Police space so vetting may be applicable

Required Experience

To be considered, you will need experience of:

  • Assessing referrals to determine level of risk
  • Working in a front line team
  • Working with children aged 0-18 years
  • Recording information accurately

You Will Need To Be

  • Social Work England Registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • A full UK licence holder

Since joining the company in February 2022, I have developed great relationships with candidates and account manager ensuring my clients receive only the best.

in my spare time I am either playing rugby or spending time with family and friends, I have a keen interest in traveling and scuba diving.

I have been with the company for almost a year and specialise in Adults and Children’s Social Work within the South West.

In my spare time I am big into sports and follow football (specifically Chelsea) and UFC closely. I also play football on Sundays and 5 a side on weekdays.

I joined the Only Social Care Team in December 2022 and I work within the Payroll Team. My job is to work alongside Evie to support candidates with their timesheets and pay roll queries. I chose to work for Only Social Care to build my skills and knowledge of the industry. When I’m not in the office you will find me watching Netflix, spending time with my friends and attending the latest concerts!

I’m new to the Only Social Care team! I joined the pay roll team in December 2022. My job is to ensure candidates are paid accurately, answer all their queries in a professional and timely manner. In my spare time I like to go on holidays and attending festivals with my friends!
Carl is our Managing Director and Owner with over 15 years’ experience within Social Work recruitment. Carl’s role is to manage the general running of the company. When not working, Carl enjoys playing golf, going to the cinema, meals out and spending time with his wife and children.
Ella has recently joined the team in November 2022 and is a hardworking member of the compliance team. She works alongside Izzy and Lauren - to ensure a smooth and friendly process for candidates to guarantee they are compliant to start their new role. I’ve been with The Only Social Care family since September 2022 and what a journey it’s been so far – we are one big, crazy family who support each other daily! I have been with the company for over 2 years and what 2 years it’s been! I specialise in Children and families Social Work roles within the Yorkshire and Northeast. Outside of work I am a big Luton town fan enjoying going to home and away games, also love playing football on a Saturday morning and going for a beer with the boys after the game. Apart from football I’m a keen pool player who enjoys the occasional pool wager with the lads in the office (Current pool wager champion 2022).

I’ve been in recruitment for the last 4 years since leaving school, I’m fuelled by helping others find their dream position.

Lauren has been with the company since July 2021 and manages the compliance team to ensure the process runs smoothly. She is responsible for DBS’s checks, audits and keeping all candidates up to date with the correct documents. When she’s not hard at work, she enjoys photography and traveling the country attending car shows.

Saif has been with the company since May 2001, after initially joining as an apprentice, is now responsible for managing all clients/vendors and contracts to ensure we are responding quickly and accurately to all job vacancies across the UK. Saif is a whizz with computers and plays a massive part in our growth as a business.

In his free time he likes to go shopping for designer clothes and his biggest achievement recently is learning to swim

As Operations Manager, I am responsible for the daily management and overall operations of the business and managing all of our consultants. In addition to this, having worked the North West region as a consultant for multiple years, I supply Adult & Children Social Workers to this specific area. This has and always will be my bread and butter, if you are a social worker and need a job in the North West of England, you will be in safe hands.

Outside of work I am family man with an amazing Wife and a beautiful daughter, this being said I am always up for meeting friends for drinks/food and have been known to be a bad influence on occasions…
