We are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker for our clients Awaken Team based in Blackpool.
You’ll be working in a multi-agency setting, helping us to lead the way in responding to all different forms of exploitation; child exploitation, child trafficking, county lines, radicalisation, FGM and missing children and young people.
Blackpool’s ‘Awaken’ team is expanding in order to address the increasing challenges that children face with regard to exploitation. Awaken is a multi-disciplinary team with practitioners from social care, education, police and health and you will need to be confident working with partner agencies in order to achieve the best outcomes for children.
Awaken is a busy and dynamic team and we are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working and energetic social worker to join us. You will be expected to have excellent communication skills and knowledge or experience with regard to working with children who may be vulnerable to exploitation or affected by exploitation.
Required Experience
To be considered, you will need experience of:
- Child Protection
- Child Exploitation
- Child Trafficking
You Will Need To Be
- HCPC registered
- Eligible to work in the UK
- A full UK licence holder
